In this figure, we can see that there have been some smaller fluctuations in percent of applicants that identify as women, but for the most part the is an apparent upward trend m especially for Washington State University. The red line represents the regression analysis performed in the original code. For this graph:

The correlation coefficient is ~0.879
This suggests a strong positive correlation between the percent of applicants that identify as as women as the years progresssed in this time-frame.
